Retrofit Lid Lift Assist

The Retro-fit Lid Lift is built for kiln owners who purchased their kiln without a lid lift and determine that one is needed.  The Retrofit Lid Lift Assist  is built for the specific model kiln and shipped with installment instructions.  Please specify model when ordering.

Olympic models 20″ and wider are equipped with a Lid Lift Assist which makes even the heaviest kiln lid easy to open. A Lid Lift Assist can be built for models 18″ wide and smaller, please specify when ordering.

Olympic’s Lid Lift Assist is designed so that there isn’t any stress on the kiln lid or body with the lid arm, which runs across the top of the kiln.  The back brace attaches to the kiln stand as a single unit.
