An infinite switch controls the intensity of the heat coming from the lid element. If the switch remains in the OFF position, only the body elements will heat the kiln. If the infinite switch is turned to the High position, all elements, both body and lid, heat at the same intensity. The kiln operator may choose to lessen the intensity of the lid element by turning the switch down. Models come equipped with a pilot light, an 18&#8243; tall metal stand or frame, a stainless-steel jacket, lid lift assist, peephole plugs, an instruction manual, and a warranty card. Two-year warranty. The 2014GFE is equipped with the Bartlett Instrument 3 Key electronic controller and data is entered by scrolling for the desired temperature for ramp-hold programming.<\/p>\n<p>Additional options include upgrading to the KilnStar digital controller or the Genesis controller with touchscreen technology, a bead door, a quartz glass viewing window, lid element in quartz rods, a Type S thermocouple, a vent, and much more!<\/p>\n<p>Furniture Kits for 2014GFE include two layers of shelving for stacking ware.
