Front-loading car kilns come equipped with a pilot light, a welded heavy-angle iron frame, a stainless steel jacket, and a heavy-angle iron 6 ft. track. The 12-key digital Bartlett Instruments KilnStar controller equips the kiln with more ramp-hold user programs and multiple features, including delay start, preheat, cone offset, skip step, and more, for precise firings every time. Messages and Information are available for reviewing a firing profile before or during the firing, viewing the current segment the firing is in, and a cone table for easy lookup of temperature and cone number equivalents. The FL31E is equipped with its own breaker box for easy access, safety, and lockout.

Options include upgrading to the Genesis touchscreen controller, 480-volt, Type S thermocouple, vent, and much more!  Solid-state relays are also an option.  Please call Olympic Kilns at 800.241.4400 to order.

Furniture Kits for Large-Capacity Car Kilns include 4 layers of shelving, assorted posts, and a 5-pound bag of kiln wash. Choose the standard furniture kit, or build your own with shelves and posts in the required quantities.
